Metalizing spray wire is drawn metal wire made for thermal spray guns. The gun melts it with an electric arc or an oxy-fuel flame, and compressed air sprays the molten metal onto a prepared surface, where it forms a coating. The process is also called wire metalizing or arc spray metalizing, and it can be done in the shop or on site.
