What Is a Wet Blasting Nozzle?

A wet blasting nozzle, also called a water induction nozzle, draws a small amount of water into the abrasive-air stream and atomizes it, coating solid particles with liquid as they exit the nozzle at speed. This largely eliminates visible dust release without needing specialized wet blasting machine: it fits onto a standard blast hose and works with your existing compressed-air abrasive setup.

The nozzle can run in either dry or wet mode, uses ordinary tap water (or a basic pump for adding rust inhibitors), and consumes very little water - typically around 3-6 quarts per minute, depending on how much dust suppression you need. It's fitted with a tungsten carbide liner, threaded connection, and an aluminium jacket, and works with standard 1" I.D. blast hoses.
