About Sandblasting Hopper, Model Airo P7150

The Sandblasting Hopper, Model Airo P7150, is our smallest portable abrasive blasting pot - built for accessory work, repairs, and maintenance jobs that don't need a large tank or high cleaning rate. It's manually controlled, lightweight enough to move easily between small jobs, and priced as an entry point into portable abrasive blasting equipment.

What Is the Sandblasting Hopper, P7-150?

The blasting hopper, P7-150, is a pressure-blasting pot that stores and pressurizes abrasive media, then feeds it through a hose and sand blasting nozzle for surface cleaning, descaling, deburring, and finishing. It's used across glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, and stone surfaces - anywhere a controlled abrasive blast is needed rather than manual sanding or scraping.

The pressure vessel is tested to 250 PSIG and coded, and the nozzle is Tungsten Carbide-lined for extended service life under continuous abrasive wear.

How the Sandblasting Hopper Works?

  • Abrasive is loaded from the top of the hopper while the sand blasting machine is idle and the tank isn't pressurized.
  • A vibrating sieve at the top screens the abrasive as it's loaded, keeping oversized particles or debris out of the system.
  • The mushroom valve opens downward, transferring sieved abrasive into the blasting storage tank.
  • The mushroom valve closes, and compressed air is switched on, pressurizing the tank so abrasive falls freely into the mixing tube.
  • Compressed air carries the abrasive from the mixing tube to the nozzle, where it's accelerated onto the work surface.
  • The operator controls on/off directly at the machine - this model is manually operated and doesn't require a separate electrical control connection.

This model is recommended for small and accessory work - repairs and maintenance jobs - rather than continuous, high-volume production blasting.

Is the P7-150 the Right Model for You?

Choose the sandblasting hopper, model Airo P7-150, if your jobs are small-scale - repairs, maintenance, or accessory work - and you want the lowest-cost entry point into portable abrasive blasting.

Consider the portable sand blasting machines, P7-300, instead if you need a larger 300 kg tank and higher throughput for semi-medium contractor jobs.

Consider the sand blasting hopper P7-500 instead if you need contractor-grade daily field capacity with a 9-12 sq. m/hr cleaning rate.

Why Buy the Sandblasting Hopper, P7-150, From Airo Shot Blast Equipments?

We've manufactured blasting equipment in Jodhpur since 2008 - 18 years, 8,000+ units installed, 25+ countries served. We are the leading manufacturer and supplier of sand blasting hoppers, sand blasting machines, grit blasting machines, dustless blasting machines, abrasive blasting machines, sand blasting cabinets, sand blasting rooms, and shot blasting hoppers at low cost in India. On a compact model like the P7-150, that translates to:

  • Tungsten carbide nozzle as standard, for longer service life than a plain steel nozzle under repeated abrasive wear.
  • Pressure vessel tested to 250 PSIG and coded - built to a verifiable safety standard, not just a stated capacity.
  • Included accessories (pressure gauge, air filter, automatic exhaust valve) rather than sold separately.
  • ISO-certified manufacturing with export documentation handled in-house for international orders - we've shipped blasting hoppers to the UAE, USA, Canada, Australia, and other markets.
