What Is a Wet Blasting Cabinet?

A water blasting cabinet uses a seal-less slurry pump to mix abrasive media with water into a slurry, then pumps that slurry to a blast gun where compressed air propels it onto the surface at a set pressure. Because the abrasive media travels suspended in water rather than dry through air, the process runs dust-free and gives finer control over the finish - well suited to delicate, precision-manufactured parts.

An exhaust blower filter maintains negative pressure inside the cabinet, keeping mist from escaping during operation. Fresh water rinses the operator's view window at set intervals, keeping visibility clear throughout the blasting cycle.
