Operating method of rotary barrel shot blasting machines :

The workpieces are in a standard drum, which will be put into a feeder or is directly discharged. The feeder will be elevated and comes in front of the machine door, which opens shortly. Arriving at the right ht, the feeder swings & unloads the workpieces into the rotary drum. According to the sensitivity of the work pieces, this method can be performed with attention. The control of the drum can be performed manually or PLC. Through this, the damage is withdrawn. At that time, the barrel is in the filling position. Before the blasting process, the equipment door closes, and the barrel swings into an optimal position in front of the high-performance turbine. Simultaneously, it turns around its own axis.
 
The blasting process starts and lasts as long as the workpieces are mixed & blasted from all sides. The inside of the blasting chamber is equipped with materials that are very resistant against shots or grit. The initial wearing in the direct shot blasting zone of the high-performance turbines is made of high-resistant, replaceable steel plates. During the blasting process, the door keeps closed and could only be opened after the chamber has become dust-free. That takes around 10-15 sec. A scanty low-pressure exhausts the dust during the blasting process. The dust will be divided into the proper filter unit.
 
After the shot blasting machine method the barrel swings into the unloading position. At this place, it is also possible to determine the quantity of the workpieces and the intensity of unloading by using a dosed emptying. The treated workpieces come on a screen moving trough which separates the remaining abrasive and transports the pieces to prospective boxes.
