An automatic blasting machine is built for repeat production runs where consistency matters more than operator judgment call-by-call. Instead of a person manually aiming a blast gun at every part, the workpiece sits on a turntable while a reciprocating nozzle moves through a fixed blasting pattern, giving every part in the batch the same finish, at higher throughput than manual blasting. We manufacture automated blasting systems configurable by cabinet size, dust collector specification, and automation level, suited to forging, casting, and machined component finishing.
An auto blasting machine finishes small and medium-sized components using a turntable and a motor-driven sand blasting nozzle, instead of requiring an operator to manually direct the blast at every part. It's used for descaling, deburring, and surface finishing on forged, cast, welded, heat-treated, stamped, and machined parts - the kind of repeat-part production where consistent, hands-off finishing pays for itself over manual blasting.
Two stepper motors drive the process: one rotates the turntable holding the workpiece, and the second moves the nozzle up and down in a reciprocating pattern to cover the full surface.
The workpiece sits on a turntable, which a stepper motor rotates while a second stepper motor moves the blasting nozzle vertically - between them, the whole surface gets even coverage without an operator manually repositioning the gun. The control panel has switches to set nozzle height (154, 250, 305, or 355 mm), turn the blasting cycle on and off, and adjust turntable rotation speed via a regulator.
Setup sequence:
Two configurations are available: a fully automatic setup (turntable and reciprocating nozzle handle the entire cycle, with the operator only loading, unloading, and switching the cycle on/off) and a manual glove-box setup, where the operator directs a hand-held suction gun through glove ports while viewing the part through a window - suited to lower-volume or irregularly shaped parts that don't suit a fixed nozzle pattern.
